Welcoming New Leaders to the Lumina Alliance Board of Directors
Welcoming New Leaders to the Lumina Alliance Board of Directors
At Lumina Alliance, strong leadership helps ensure survivors of sexual and intimate partner violence have access to the advocacy, healing, and prevention services they need. As we look ahead to another year of serving our community, we're excited to welcome new voices to our Board of Directors while celebrating the leaders whose service has helped shape our organization.
Thank You to Our Outgoing Board Members
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to outgoing board members Courtney Taylor, Dave Juhnke, Chelsea Dixon, and Chief Rick Scott of the San Luis Obispo Police Department for their dedicated service to Lumina Alliance.
Courtney, Dave, and Chelsea helped guide the successful merger of RISE and Stand Strong, laying the foundation for the organization Lumina Alliance is today. Chief Rick Scott played an instrumental role in strengthening our partnership with the San Luis Obispo Police Department, helping expand support for survivors throughout our community.
Their leadership, commitment, and generosity have left a lasting impact, and we are deeply thankful for everything they have contributed to our mission.
Welcoming Our New Board President
We are proud to welcome Debby Nicklas as the new President of the Lumina Alliance Board of Directors.
A longtime supporter of the organization, former Chief Philanthropy Officer at Lumina Alliance, and former Vice President of Philanthropy at Dignity Health Central Coast, Debby brings decades of nonprofit leadership and fundraising expertise to the role. Her passion for serving survivors and strengthening our community will help guide Lumina Alliance into its next chapter.
We're also grateful to Debbie Wettlaufer (Vice President), Juan C. Ramirez (Secretary), Krista Elmore, MBA, CFRE, BAS (Treasurer), and Jill LeMieux (Immediate Past President) for their continued leadership and commitment as members of our Executive Committee.
