Lumina Nights featuring Dancing With Our Stars
Where: Thousand Hills Ranch, Pismo Beach
When: April 12 & 13, 2024
Lumina Nights creates a unique partnership opportunity between Lumina Alliance, local wineries, corporate sponsors, and community members in San Luis Obispo County. In addition to raising money, this event raises awareness for the important issues of sexual assault/abuse and intimate partner violence and provides community exposure for sponsors.
Celebrate Community Festival and Walk for Survivors
Where: Mission Plaza, San Luis Obispo
When: October 28, 2023
The Celebrate Community Festival and Walk for Survivors is a family-friendly event that invites participation from the community, corporate sponsors, and local athletes and non-athletes alike. The event begins with a walk through downtown SLO County. The festival will include a children’s costume contest, music, raffle with unique experiences and prizes, a Zoo to You animal demonstration, face painting, a resource fair, and a makers’ market. This event celebrates community while supporting a great cause in San Luis Obispo County.

Volunteer at an event: Our annual events rely heavily on volunteers to make them a success. Depending on your interest and availability, you can choose to become a part of our event planning committee and help us design unique and fun experiences for our community, or you can choose to act as a day-of volunteer for any of our four events. Each role is important and appreciated. If you are interested in volunteering on the planning committee or if you would like to volunteer for a specific event please complete our event volunteer interest form.
