Our community brought the fashion, generosity, and heart to Lumina Days 2026!
What a day! On October 3, our community gathered at beautiful Tar Creek Ranch in Arroyo Grande for Lumina Days, an afternoon of fashion, shopping, food, wine, and philanthropy benefiting survivors and families across San Luis Obispo County.
And despite some seriously soaring temperatures, together we raised $73,000 to support Lumina Alliance's programs and services!
From our hardworking models and generous sponsors to our volunteers, local businesses, and every guest who braved the heat, this event was a reminder of what makes our community so special.
Our Models Brought the Style AND the Heart!
Our fabulous Lumina Days 2026 models helped raise more than $11,000 for local survivors and families!
Our community models didn't just walk the runway. They spent weeks spreading the word, rallying supporters, and raising more than $11,000 for Lumina Alliance!
A huge round of applause for Jeff Chambers, David Morneau, Shannon Bowdey, Kelli Briggs, Jules Tuggle, Todd Tuggle, Mayor Kassi Dee, Dave Congalton, Kathy Minck, Susannah Brown, Donna Milne, Jim Munro, Supervisor Dawn Ortiz-Legg, Georgia Legg-Chapman, Michael Boyer, Ashlea Boyer, Barry Stokes, and Sylvia Henson.
We are grateful to every one of you for lending your time, energy, and enthusiasm to our mission.
Remembering the Heart Behind Lumina Days
One of the day's most meaningful moments came when model Susannah Brown shared the story of her friend Patricia Moreno (Jacobo), an Arroyo Grande native who was murdered by her husband in 2015.
Patricia's story inspired Fashions for a Purpose, the event that would eventually become Lumina Days. Susannah's moving remembrance connected the celebration to its roots and reminded us why we continue coming together to support survivors.
It was an especially meaningful message as Lumina Days helped kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Thank You to Our Fabulous Fashion Partners!
Our runway wouldn't be the same without the local businesses who helped our models look their best!
A huge thank you to Madonna Inn Boutique, The Annex, Patrick James, Boot Barn, Wildflower Women, Pickleball Warehouse, and Lumina Thrift for joining us as our fashion partners and bringing so much personality and style to the show.
