Dear Friend,
As we reflect on the year and look toward the future, we’re grateful for compassionate supporters like you. Because of your generosity, Lumina Alliance continues to provide safety, hope, and resources to survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual assault. Yet, with the road ahead uncertain, we need your support more than ever to ensure these essential services remain accessible for all who need them.
This is how your generosity is making a difference—in 2023 alone, you helped:
- 171 survivors, including 70 children, find safety in our emergency shelters.
- 40 survivors, including 25 children, rebuild their lives in our transitional housing units.
These numbers tell only part of the story. Cultures of oppression weigh heaviest on undocumented communities, transgender people, Black, Brown, and Indigenous individuals, women, and LGBTQI+ folks—those most impacted by violence and housing instability. With continued potential cuts to Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) funding and an increasing need for services, your support is essential to keeping safe havens open, prevention programs thriving, and resources accessible for every survivor.
Your generosity today can rewrite someone’s tomorrow. Please join us in building a safer, more inclusive community by making a gift at LuminaAlliance.org/Donate-Now.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Jennifer Adams
CEO, Lumina Alliance
